Instructions

Step 1) lay your puff pastry flat on the worktop, keeping it onto of the paper it comes in. Also preheat your oven to 180 degree

Step 2) Take your sausages, remove the skin and spread evenly onto of the pastry (to make this quicker you could buy sausage meat, but I didn't have that as an option at the time)

Step 3) Next you can place your mature cheddar either grated (which I did) or as slices onto of the sausage meat.

Step 4) Now you need to add your caramalosed red onion chutney over the cheese and spread it as evenly as possible (easier over slices of cheese)

Step 5) Now you need to roll your sausage swirls tight. Take your time, slowly rolling them untill they resemble a Swiss roll

Step 6) Lay 6 rashers of streaky bacon side by side. Then place your sausage swirl ontop of them and roll so that the bacon goes around the swirl.

Step 7) Evenly cut Into six swirls and you are good to go...

Step 8) Place on baking paper and then onto an oven tray and place into the preheated over. Set a timer for 45minutes and try not to slip over as the smell has you salivating like my teething one year old...

Step 9) Remove from the oven and let cool down. Try not to eat them all yourself as Christmas is the season for goodwill after all.

Bon appetite
